Lancaster Conservancy
Banners and Pocket Guide
Print Design and Branding
The main goal of the project was to bring attention to Lancaster Conservancy and their mission of “Providing wild and forested lands and clean waterways for the Lancaster County area”.
Working with a group, we imagined a partnership with the Lancaster County Public Library system and designed banners and materials for pop-up events in different library locations.
I created an accordion-fold pocket guide that allows users to learn about the nature preserves that Lancaster Conservancy manages, where they’re located, and what features they offer.
The Question:
How can we design versatile print and digital assets that connect Lancaster’s community to the Conservancy’s mission and encourage them to actively participate in conservation efforts?

Framework
A lot of research and interviews were conducted on Lancaster Conservancy to understand how they build a connection between the Lancaster community and the recreation areas around them.
Ideally, this project would lead to more participation in programs, more volunteers, and more monetary contributions to sustain this nonprofit for as long as possible.
