Typography and Composition

For my visual communication course, we were tasked to design a cover and spreads for a print publication.

I imagined a magazine around snowboarding and the exciting culture snowboarders bring the the sport.

I printed images, ripped them by hand, and scanned them to create an overall branding for the publication.

I also incorporated hand-drawn illustrations to convey a nostalgic and thrill-seeking energy for the snowboarding magazine.
